We built Urbanis because property management in Albania was still running on printed ledgers, WhatsApp groups, and gut feeling. Platform admins had no cross-building visibility. Managers had no reliable audit trail. Residents had no idea what they owed or why. Urbanis fixes all of that - with role-specific dashboards, automated monthly charges, real-time balances, and a mobile app residents can actually use.
How it started
Built in Tirana to solve a real problem.
The idea for Urbanis came from watching property administrators in Tirana manage dozens of buildings using nothing but Excel files, printed payment records, and phone calls. There was no audit trail, no way for residents to verify their balance, and no visibility for building owners into what was actually happening on the ground.
We started with the ledger - making charges, payments, and monthly balances accurate and transparent. Then we added unit and resident management, building staff assignments, annual reporting, and finally a native mobile app so residents could see their account from anywhere. Today Urbanis runs buildings across Albania, with web and mobile working as a single system.
